Maria De Vivo is a recent graduate from the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She has been awarded Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Alpha Eta Society recognitions for her outstanding academic performance and leadership. Maria earned her bachelor’s degree cum laude in human physiology at Boston University.
Prior to her role as a PA, she worked as a surgical device representative. Maria provided technical assistance inside the operating room for devices used in various open and laparoscopic procedures, including hernia repair, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, colon resection and weight loss surgery. It was during her training as a PA that Maria realized her passion for surgical care. She has trained alongside general, bariatric, and plastic and reconstructive teams, where she learned operative skills, wound management, and an appreciation for surgical outcomes. With her detail-oriented and friendly demeanor, Maria’s aim is to provide exceptional care and to help patients achieve their goals.
